Tom Flanagan

 

As the co-founder of a new brewery, Tom’s role is to focus on all branding and marketing initiatives.

Tom works to ensure that the company’s flagship product “Nice Dart Lager” is launched and marketed with a strategy, purpose, and competitive advantage. In the rush to simply find more distribution and launch new products, Tom believes that the pressure to create “more” often means less effort is being put into brand building and the insight, data, and strategy that should inform that.

Tom also serves as the Chief Content and Innovation Officer for Big Block, a creative services and production company that works with global brands including ESPN, Under Armour, and General Motors. Prior to Big Block, he was EVP and Managing Director for Leo Burnett where he helped launch and lead new agency operations. As Managing Director, he worked with industry leading brands that included Chobani, Samsung, Bacardi, Viacom, and others. Tom has a long history with entertainment industry initiatives, developing relationships in music, film, sports, and fashion.

Tom’s co-workers have helped him win numerous industry awards for his work in advertising, branding, social media, innovation, and entertainment – including at Cannes, the Clio Awards, The One Show, The Telly’s, Addys, Webby’s, and other silly sounding organizations.
