Brian Kerester
Brian Kerester has over 30 years of experience as a banker, principal investor, CFO and Board Director for a variety of companies. Kerester has been involved in numerous capital markets transactions including: venture financings, leveraged buyouts, growth capital raises, acquisitions, divestitures, hostile takeovers, IPOs, restructurings and bankruptcies. During his career, Kerester has worked with companies across a variety of industries and stages of development, ranging from software start-ups to middle market distribution consolidators to Fortune 500 global manufacturers.
Prior to joining Wood Warren, Kerester worked for Bankers Trust, First Boston, McCown De Leeuw, Distribution Dynamics, Collabria and Glaucon Capital Partners. Kerester has also served on the board of directors of seven companies, including one listed on the New York Stock Exchange and six owned by private equity firms. Through his various positions as a banker, investor, senior executive, and board member, Kerester has substantial experience in developing corporate strategies, implementing business plans, building organizations, and completing a variety of capital markets transactions. Kerester earned his BS in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA from Columbia Business School.
