Julie Verratti
Julie Verratti was born and raised in Silver Spring, MD where she resides now with her wife and business partner, Emily Bruno. Julie earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Brandeis University and her law degree from the George Washington University Law School. She worked in politics and for the U.S. Small Business Administration before founding Denizens Brewing Co. in 2013 with Emily and their brother-in-law Jeff Ramirez. Julie is the Chief Brand Officer for Denizens Brewing Co. and oversees strategic partnerships, wholesale, and business development. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Brewers Association and the Brewers Association of Maryland. When she is not selling beer she is hanging out with her family and friends. The best career decision she ever made was to jump into the beer business.
