Joe Rice
Joe is co-founder and co-owner of The Void Sake Company, Kentucky’s first sake brewery. Active in the craft beverage industry since 2010, Joe has partnered with 2 other seasoned craft beverage artisans to bring traditional – as well as unique – flavor profiles and styles to the sake world.
With his role at The Void, he helps maintain the day-to-day operations, with a focus on licensing, purchasing and accounting. Joe serves on the board of several local non-profits supporting the craft beer industry in his resident state of Kentucky, while also maintaining his career as a senior DevOps engineer. He enjoys spending time with his family, visiting breweries, and supporting local businesses.
