John Davenport, PhD, MBA
Dr. John Davenport is the co-founder and head distiller of Three Crosses Distilling Company in Powhatan, Virginia. Three Crosses was the first legal distillery in Powhatan County.
Dr. Davenport is twenty-five plus year veteran of the banking, finance and investment industries. He holds an MBA in management and a PhD in entrepreneurial leadership, concentrated in entrepreneurial finance. He is currently a senior ETF Specialist for a $1 trillion investment manager. He previously worked for one of the largest investment brokerage firms in the U.S. where he helped manage more than $100 billion in client assets.
In addition, to Three Crosses Distilling Company, he has also successfully started and run several other businesses across various industries.
With Particular expertise in financial management, financial accounting and portfolio management, Dr. Davenport takes a very methodical and data driven approach to business.
