Moya Shatz Dolsby

In 2008 Moya Shatz Dolsby joined the Idaho Wine Commission with one large goal in mind, “I want everyone to know that Idaho is not just about potatoes, were about WINE!” With her overwhelming enthusiasm Moya travels throughout the state and the country telling all she encounters about Idaho’s vast and growing wine industry. In 2011, with Moya’s determination, news of Idaho’s growing wine industry reached such reporters as The New York Times, ABC News and USA Today. Moya will continue to work hard to promote and market Idaho’s wineries and wine growers.

Prior to her arrival in Boise, Moya worked for four and half years as the Event Manager for the Washington Wine Commission. She grew up in Monroe, Washington and graduated from the University of Washington. As much as she loved Washington, she needed a change in scenery and thus found herself packing up and moving over to Boise. When Moya is not busy promoting Idaho’s wine industry she enjoys playing with her two dogs Flora and Bella, spending time with her husband, and, of course, trying new wines.
