Christiane Silberwasser
Christiane Silberwasser is the Co-founder and President of Pedro Mandinga, a Panamanian craft distillery that produces rum from locally sourced panela. Born in Nicaragua, raised in the States and now living in Colombia, where in 2001, Silberwasser and her husband created Bogota Beer Company, which currently has 23 pubs and brewed 26,000 hectoliters in 2015. Also in 2001, they started Bogota’s first Irish pub, and later, in 2010, they built one of Panama’s first craft breweries, La Rana Dorada, which is where they set up the Pedro Mandinga rum distillery in 2015.
