Lisa Itel
Lisa Itel is a fifth generation Oregonian. She attended Eastern Oregon University and majored in business economics. After graduation, she worked as a buyer for Fred Meyer thru 2001, 2001-07 she worked as Tourism and Marketing Manager for Woodburn Company Stores and then was employed as Global Sales Manager for Travel Oregon, a position she currently holds. Lisa is passionate about her responsibilities for growing the domestic trade and international leisure markets for Oregon and enjoys visiting all regions of the state to communicate the best practices to accomplish this task. Lisa Itel has chaired the NTA Convention Committee; a group part of NTA’s Leadership Team and has also held the position of DMO Director on the NTA board of directors. She also is the staff liaison for the Oregon Tour & Travel Alliance. In her personal time, Lisa enjoys spending time on her family farm, camping, golf and enjoying all of the culinary and cultural diversity activities available in Oregon.
